I practiced OBGYN for 2.5 years at the Guam SDA clinic and very much enjoyed incorporating the spiritual through literature, prayer, and conversation as well as lifestyle change – particularly in pregnancy and before surgery to optimize outcomes. I currently work part time as an OBGYN hospitalist and volunteer part time to help combine the work of the church and a local SDA lifestyle medicine clinic. I especially love working one on one with patients to help them make lifestyle change and come to know Jesus. I also love working with students and residents. I really enjoyed taking third year OBGYN residents from Loma Linda on a global health rotation in Malawi.
