The best way to find meaning in our jobs is to make it about the most important thing-Jesus Christ. This is also the antidote to burnout in our profession. I love praying with patients, talking about religion with them, doing Bible studies with them, leading office prayer with the staff, passing out literature, and basically caring for others and trying to provide whole person care. I try to role model this to the staff, medical residents, and cardiology fellows I work with.
