I have learned that there is so much joy and God-given purpose in sharing about Christ not only to my patients but also to my co-workers, whether it be through offering prayer, engaging in spiritual conversations during lunch breaks, intentionally listening to their stories and encouraging them, or providing literature. Medical ministry does not have to seem difficult as I once thought; it is the simple day-to-day conversations that God can use to reveal Himself and glorify His Name. When we take the time to form personal relationships with our patients and co-workers and share God’s love and the gospel with them, I believe our work becomes deeply meaningful.
