I grew up in an overseas mission family, and have a passion for international service. Our family served for 10 years in Nigeria, and have done a number of short term mission trips to Mexico, Fiji, Kenya, Ethiopia, and at home free clinics in Oakland, San Francisco, San Antonio, and our current home town of Oroville, CA.
As an opportunity to talk with patients about spiritual matters I wear spiritual themed ties, and seek other ways in my patient contacts to open spiritual conversations, frequently praying with patients, but also still growing in this spiritual journey.
