President: Mark Ranzinger, MD

Dr. Mark Ranzinger is a board certified surgeon, specializing in minimally invasive surgery, and currently practicing in Goshen, Indiana. Though Dr. Ranzinger has many honors to his credit, has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals, and has participated in a number of lectureships, the aspect of his medical service that he values the most, and speaks of most often is his service as medical director of two mission hospitals in Africa (Seventh-day Adventist Hospital, Ife-Ife, Nigeria; and Mugonero Hospital, Mugonero, Rwanda). What many do not know about Dr. Ranzinger, is that his undergraduate degree was in theology. Thus he has, since the beginning of his training, had a deep and abiding interest in combining the practice of medicine with the preaching of the gospel. His enthusiasm for medical-evangelism (both foreign and domestic) is indeed infectious, and he hopes to pass it on to every Seventh-day Adventist health professional. Dr. Ranzinger considers himself blessed to be married to Ruth. The couple has three children - Andrew, Aubrey, and Elliot.
